This place was recommended both online and at our air bnb. We had the chicken pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. Both were amazing dishes. We sat at the pizza counter which was entertaining for the kids, the chefs were great company also. All the staff and our server were fantastic. I Would definitely come back if we are in the area.

Every staff member was happy, and kind. We had such a great time, the food was phenomenal. The portions were perfect, and the bill was less than we expected!

Marzano is my favourite restaurant in the world right now and has been for six months. I ate through the whole menu a few times and keep trying the new things when it changes. I have been to many many many more restaurants too in many cities but keep returning to Marzano whenever I can. Love the authentic and delicious wood oven pizza with neat, fresh, and fantastic ingredients. The brunches are wildly tasty 😋. The drinks are always great - highly recommend the Marzano Caesar with choice of vodka, gin, or tequila. I always get all the sorbet flavours each time if I have time and space because they are always so so good and time-limited. Plenty of parking across the street in the Best Western lot. They are owned by the same folks. Let the Best Western folks next to Marzano’s know you parked there but it’s generally no problem anyway. All the staff always tell me they love working here. Many have been there for years. The owners and management seem wonderful - and it shows in the vibe and the food.

I had a pleasant evening for my birthday. As someone from Italy who has worked with maestro pizza makers from Naples, I can say that the Margherita at Marzano is the closest I’ve found to the original here in B.C. They offer an interesting wine menu with an outstanding Lambrusco as the daily feature. The service was quick and relaxed, and the overall vibe was great.

Beautiful restaurant. My wife is very particular about her pizza and prefers Italian style wood oven. Marzano's was just the right place. We ordered pickup for a margarita and pepperoni pizza, and both looked and tasted great. Highly recommended.

Just perfect! Gnocchi and pizza were awesome! Loved it. Cocktail was served perfectly and thats what made me rate it 5* and to call it perfect. Must try if you are craving for Italian food!

We had the chance to enjoy a meal here over the weekend and we tried the Burrata along with the Pesto Risotto with Prawns. I’m still dreaming about the Burrata, easily one of the best Italian dishes I’ve had!! The service was incredibly kind, even with our large group at the community table, and the hosts graciously fit us in as walk-ins. On top of that, the space itself is stunning. You can tell so much thought and intention went into every detail, right down to the sweetest gingham cotton napkins. Thank you, Marzano team!

Simply a fantastic place. The food was absolutely outstanding -- the pasta was perfectly cooked, the porchetta was one of the best meals I've had in years and the gnocchi was a delight. Wine by the glass is a bit limited and the gelato was not to our taste but we will definitely be back anytime we're nearby. The atmosphere is friendly and lively without being loud. The staff is talented and works together seamlessly as a team working. What a great evening -- thank you!

The best dinner we’ve had in Nelson, and honestly coming from Vancouver, this Italian food was one par with the top in the city. Absolutely a must visit! Their gnocchi and pizza is to die for. Thin crust for the win 🤩
